Ivett Cuen

Director of Grants Administration

Ivett Cuen joined the Trust in February 2018 following 12 years with Arizona Public Service. At APS, she worked in corporate giving, strategic partnerships, and volunteerism, and provided project management and technical support for the APS Foundation’s internal grants program. As a program officer for the Trust, Cuen focused on grantmaking within the Trust’s priority area of helping people in need by reviewing grant proposals, meeting with potential grantees, conducting site visits, recommending funding for programs, and monitoring the success of these programs. Cuen was also instrumental in developing the Trust’s Small Organization Fund, which provides vital operational support to small organizations. Additionally, she served on the Nina Scholars Advisory Council for Arizona State University and represented the Trust in community initiatives, including Arizona’s Summer Youth Program Fund and The Arizona Republic’s Season for Sharing campaign.

In 2025, Cuen became the director of grants administration for the Trust. Cuen oversees the distribution of grant funding and manages the grants lifecycle, grants software systems, and related administrative functions. She holds a technical degree in internet programming and software design from High Tech Institute and resides in Phoenix, traveling regularly to the Trust’s Indianapolis office.
