| Since
the first grants were distributed, the Trust awarded more than $124
million in grants to 665 nonprofit organizations serving the communities
of Phoenix and Indianapolis. In 2006, a total of 201 organizations
received commitments totaling $13,059,588 in three grant rounds from
the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. The grants represented a
broad span of primarily local community needs, and environmental and
civic interests. The following chart illustrates the dollar distribution
of our 2006 grant awards across the Trust's three funding categories. |
