Grant distribution summary

The Trust celebrates its tenth year of grantmaking in 2008.  Since the first grants were distributed, the Trust awarded a total of 713 nonprofit organizations more than $140 million in grants, equally distributed between Arizona and Indiana.  In 2007, a total of 221 organizations received commitments totaling $17,029,614 in three rounds from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust.  The grants represented a broad span of primarily local community needs, and environmental and civic interests. The following chart illustrates the dollar distribution of our 2007 grant awards across the Trust's three funding categories.
