You have chosen to submit a hard copy proposal. You must have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to successfully download the application form. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, please install it using the link provided below.
The Trust invites organizations that support its mission and eligibility guidelines to submit a Preliminary Proposal Letter, not to exceed three pages with font size of at least 12-point, and the Preliminary Application Form (see Application Tips). The Preliminary Proposal Letter must be submitted on the organization's letterhead and signed by both the chief executive officer (e.g. President, Executive Director, etc.) and the board chair or president. The letter must include the following:
- A brief description of your organization
- A clear description of the need your request is intended to address, including the time frame and project budget
- A description of the target population and how it will benefit
Please select only one primary focus area (i.e. elderly, basic needs) and one proposed use of funds (i.e. operating, project, or capital grant).
The preliminary proposal must include the following:
- Preliminary Application Form (5 copies)
- Preliminary Proposal Letter (5 copies)
- Board of Directors Roster with business affiliation (5 copies)
- Latest IRS 501(c)(3) Determination Letter (1 copy)
For both project and capital requests, attach a list of other support already received and/or pledged (including sources and amounts). No additional materials are to be submitted.
All materials must be received at the designated Trust office no later than 3 p.m. the day of deadline. No exceptions.
The Trust will acknowledge receipt of all complete Preliminary Proposals with a postcard within five business days of the deadline. The Trust prefers not to meet with potential grantees until it has the opportunity to review the Preliminary Proposal.
Preliminary proposals will be accepted on or before the due date. The Trust appreciates those organizations that submit prior to the deadline.
Do not staple, bind, or include in any type of folder or notebook.
An incomplete proposal and/or multiple proposals for the same year will not be processed.
